Al fine di alleviare alcune domande fatte dai computer, un sistema di caching DNS, gli indirizzi di memoria contattati, è stata implementata.
Questo sistema può essere problematico quando gli indirizzi memorizzati nella cache non sono più disponibili sulla rete e che la cache non è stata aggiornata.
Svuotare la ca
Linux
Per svuotare la cache in un ambiente Linux basta aprire un terminale, quindi digitare il seguente comando :
/etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart
Riavviando il servizio NSCD Linux DNS cache è vuota.
Mac
Per svuotare la cache in un ambiente Mac, digitare in un terminale :
Versione Leopa
dscacheutil -flushcache
Altre versioni
lookupd -flushcache
Cache DNS in Mac ora è deselezionata.
Windows
Per svuotare la cache in un ambiente di Windows, aprire un terminale di comando aprendo il menu start -> Esegui quindi digitare : Nella finestra del terminale che è apparso di ti:
ipconfig /flushdns
Questa è la cache DNS Windows è ormai svuotato.
